Rated 4 out of 5 by from very clear picture really good product for price but battery is awful. it only lasts about 2 hours off charge with just sound only and not the screen on. if screen is on battery life is shorter

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great price For the price I’m very impressed, clear picture and sound, which is all we wanted in a video baby monitor no need to buy a more fancy, expensive one. My only negative is, the battery life, the handset is portable which is great but you would need to keep it plugged in where ever you were or keep an eye on the battery life. However if u have a plug next to your bed just keep it plugged in, that’s why I rated it 4/5 other than the battery life it would have been a 5/5 for the price

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to use Very easy to use and set up. The only bad point is the battery life. It is awful does not last very long.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rubbish Not worth the money at all. Rubbish signal. Can't even take the parent unit 2 metres away without it completely loosing the signal! Battery life is rubbish aswell
Date published: 2018-07-27
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Has really annoying background noise (crackling and beeping) meaning that even when the baby is nicely asleep there's a constant irritating noise coming out of the monitor. Signal is poor so sound keeps cutting off and back on which is also annoying in the middle of the night. Our other monitor Motorola monitor (MPB662) is so much better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from very poor quality This is one of the worst electronic products I've ever owned. I've actually had two. The first one had a defect right out of the box and wouldn't pair the two units. The second one fails to properly charge the battery when plugged in so it starts beeping within 5 minutes of being off the charger and totally did within 10. The picture quality is nothing special and the camera cannot cope with a dim, but not totally dark room - when the light is low the picture goes black every second or so and then takes two seconds to come back up.

Does this have sound activation mode

Asked by: J111
Hello, Thank you for your query. You will be able to hear any noise from your little ones room. The Motorola MBP481 video baby monitor features a full-colour 2-inch colour LCD display that shows real-time video and sound in your baby's room, ensuring you know what's happening both visually as well as audibly. Infrared night vision means you can also stay in touch with what's going in your baby's room without any lights to disturb little sleepers, and the night vision recording lets you see what your little one is up to at night and during low light levels. LEDs on the Motorola MBP481 parent monitor indicate the level of sound activity in the room, letting you keep an eye on your baby's activity by a simple visual representation. The strong wireless range of the MBP481 lets you keep connected to your baby up to 300 meters away, so you can take the parent unit with you anywhere in your home. An alarm sounds when you're getting out of range of the transmitting unit, so you'll never have to wonder if you're close enough to hear what's going on. I hope this helps

Can you add More then one camera to the  Monitor ?

Asked by: Tiff1006
Thanks for your query. We have checked with Motorola and they state: Related Products Motorola MBP481 You can pair a maximum of four baby units to your parent unit. Each new baby unit must be paired to the parent unit before use. Unfortunately we do not sell the extra units, but you should be able to get them directly. Regards, Mothercare

How to take it out off night mode?

Asked by: Cee23
Hi, Thank you for your query. The night vision mode for this item does work automatically. The night vision is activated when the built-in light sensor on the front of the unit detects a low level of ambient light. Please see the link for further information on the item - Hope this helps
