Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad Purchased thinking it was better than a cheap version, only slightly tbh. For the money I presumed the camera would be able to move remotely not by a switch manually on the back of the camera.

Once fully charged how long does the battery last for on the video monitor? Also, does the video monitor have a screen saver option?

Asked by: Sarah
Hello, Thank you for your query. Battery life: When the Parent Unit is removed from the AC Adaptor and in Video + Audio Mode the rechargeable batteries will last approx. 4.5 hrs: • When the Parent Unit has the video screen on constantly as with all cordless devices this will naturally drain the re-chargeable batteries when it is not plugged into the AC Adaptor • In addition to this the amount of noise in each home is different, therefore as the Parent Unit is constantly transmitting background noises, music etc. these will also drain the battery power in this unit When the Parent Unit is removed from AC Adaptor and in Screen Save + Audio Mode the rechargeable batteries will last approx. 9 hrs: • It is recommended that should you wish to use the Parent Unit in Video Mode (out of power save mode) for long periods of time whilst also using continuous sound transmission that you keep the Parent Unit plugged into the AC Adaptor This is indicative of any product (such as your mobile phone) that constantly streams information, video etc. This function uses more power that when any unit is standby/power save mode. Screen save: You do have the option to deactivate the screensaver function so the video display is always ON or set to display for 30 seconds, 1 min, 2 mins or 3 mins before going into screen save mode, please see below for information on how to do this: ________________________________________ How to select the preferred Screensaver time/setting: • Press the MENU/SELECT button to access MAIN MENU • Select the SETTINGS icon to access the SUB MENU • Select the Screen Saver Icon • Press the MENU/SELECT so that the icon edge is BLUE • Use the UP or DOWN arrow to select the preferred VIDEO display mode (OFF or set to 30 seconds, 1 min, 2 mins or 3 mins) • Press the MENU/SELECT so that the icon edge is GREEN to save the preferred setting • Press the Video ON/OFF button to return to the display Please Note – If you do not press the MENU/SELECT so that the icon edge is GREEN to save the preferred setting it will revert to the previous setting and you will need to begin again I hope this information is of use.
