Rated 1 out of 5 by Georgia from Would not recommend at all! I bought this item following recommendations from friends. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I bought this product for reassurance, however it has done nothing but panic me! I have only used this a handful of times due to the continuing issues I have had. The sensor pad feels extremely flimsy as does the parent unit. The movement alarm goes off non stop, I have even been sat next to my son watching him move and the movement alarm is going off at the same time, I have read all of the trouble shooting in relation to this and have tried everything including changing all the individual units battery’s, adjusting the sensitivity etc and still no luck. I have repeatedly turned off the sensor pad function however the function keeps turning itself back on and alarming! And every time the alarm goes off so does the nursery unit alarm often waking my son. On top of this the parent unit beeps around every five seconds for no apparent reason, I have read everything to try and find out what this is and how to turn it off and have found nothing. Then the signal will drop out for no reason (even after replacing battery’s etc) so I will be able to hear my son upstairs but nothing is coming through the monitor. This was bought to bring piece of mind for my partner and I and all it has done is cause unnecessary panic and frustration and we are now left with something we cannot use - I would not waste your money purchasing this item

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rachael from Poor long term quality We have two Angelcare units for our two children, this unit looked like a really great upgrade to the previous touch screen version. Wireless sensor pad too, sounded really good. However not so, we are on our second unit as the buttons on the handset are flimsy and do not respond well. The sensor pad goes off randomly and I'm pretty sure it's due to the battery getting low, seems to stop if I do that but so annoying. If you've ever heard the alarm go off it's not a nice experience and to have it happen so often is not good. Yes these units do occasionally alarm but there is something drastically different about this unit compared to our other one. Having to hold down a button to turn the sensor pad on and off that doesn't respond well is the very worst part of this product. Oh and if you want it to be changed under warranty you have to take it into your nearest Mothercare store. Which for us is no longer very near at all, great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anon from Not happy Not happy with this purchase, paid a lot of money for something I can’t use. The wireless sensor pad doesn’t work. It randomly goes off, but yet it won’t go off if I take my baby out without turning the pad off, even after 25 seconds! Very dissapointed, tried to contact Angelcare but no response.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Adadad from Great features but flawed We brought this several months ago and recently set it up now baby has arrived. the parent unit feels very flimsey. The features are good and unit appears to work well but there is one new major flaw. The unit features a pause function so you can prevent the alarm sounding when you pick up the baby from the crib. Whilst pause is enabled both units emit a loud beep every 30seconds to remind you that it is paused. This is really unhelpful if you have left a partner sleeping in the room or have just settled the baby back to sleep. The inability to turn this beep off makes this system unusable for us. We will be returning it.

This is advertised as wireless, can you confirm that the actual sensor pad is free from wires or is it just the separate units that are wireless? Many thanks
Hello Includes parent audio unit, nursery audio unit and wireless under-mattress movement sensor pad. The sensor pad is wireless. I hope this helps
