Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rubbish clay I brought this to capture my daughters handrpints to accompany our sons from 2 years ago. Ours sons came out perfectly but this "new improved clay" is far from!! No amount of rolling got rid of all the air bubbles and so the clay looks bumby from the offset and the impressions seemed to expand almost as soon as we had taken them so within a few hours they were almost not visible. I am so disappointed as I love my sons and this product clearly has not been 'improved' for the better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mouldy! This all seemed ok when purchased but after a few months it has gone mouldy. Much like the other reviews this is a very poor product and I am unable to turn the clock back to take the foot and hand prints again.....waste of money and loss of what would have been a great keepsake.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money - mouldy!!! Absolute waste of money, so disappointing!!! I bought this to take impressions from my first born whilst she was several weeks old. The clay was left out for longer than recommended to allow it to fully air dry, though it never seemed to. A month on I have noticed 3 different types of mould growing all over the clay!!! I will never get these early weeks back and am absolutely devastated. I wish I’d read the product reviews as now I see I’m not alone. Poor product, should be removed from sale so more loyal Mothercare customers don’t lose precious memories!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful kit I’m so sad with this product, as I’ve purchased it to capture the size of my new borns hand and foot. I followed the instructions and left the clay out for longer than recommend to be fully sure it was air dry. Then proudly I have the finish product along with my first borns frame. After a week of it being in the frame I’ve noticed it has gone MOULDY!!! I’m so angry and disappointed at it clearly states on the box new improved clay! This clearly is not improved as I had no problem with the first frame I bought for my first born 2 years ago! it’s not something I can do again either as my baby has obviously grown!!

Have you changed the quality of the clay in the last year? I bought this item for my first born and it was great so wanted to do the same for my second born. You can't see the impression anywhere near as good. I am no longer happy with this product.

What appears to be mould has grown on the clay after we spent ages getting an almost perfect impression. It seemed to wipe away but are you able to give advice on making sure it is gone and preventing regrowth?
