MAM electric steriliser and express bottle warmer is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! Our little one is 2 days old now and I have to say this is a great bit of kit. I like the idea of steam sterilizing and this makes things really convinient. The sterilizer container is roomy with two shef compartments - big parts in the bottom and small parts in the top. Sterilizing time is a few minutes, just top up the heating bowl with water, assemble and two presses of a button starts it. It has a handy cool down timer and beeps once it is safe to open up. The bottle heater takes a little getting used to, not too bad but practice will make perfect. I over heated the bottle first time so had to wait a while to let it cool. But that was me adding too much water to steam heat the bottle. You need to match the milk bottle size to the amount of water you need to heat the bottle, as it only stops heating once the water evapourates - add too much and it'll continually heat. After heatingnit has a 45min "keep warm" function which I've found quite useful. Only bad point is, it requires you to measure the amount of water you need to add for sterilizing and bottle heating, which adds slight inconvenience as the kit doesn't come with a little measuring jug/cap. I had to use a measuring cap from something else in the house, but it doesnt take away from how much I love this bit of kit. Size wise it's great, doesn't clutter or take up too much room. Being first time parents my wife and I are pleased with this purchase. Thank you MC and MAM.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I wouldn’t buy this again. We bought this steriliser/warmer as our little one really took to MAM’s bottles so we thought best to use their products to clean their bottles. It’s not the cheapest of sterilisers/warmers on the shelf (even if you did choose to buy the items separately from other brands) but it does save space by combining the two. The steriliser compartment is nice and big so you can get a fair few bottles in. It’s a shame that the product doesn’t dry the items inside for you when finished like others as that would save time. Meaning you have to have a clean towel ready otherwise your newly sterile bottles need re-cleaning. Also it’s also a shame that the water trough doesn’t have a ‘fill to here’ line meaning MAM expect you to measure the water each time you need to use - which with a three week old isn’t going to happen. Also it’s almost a shame there is no timer on the front telling you how long is left until the clean is finished. These bits will make the machine easier and much more convenient to use but overall the steriliser does its job well without. The bottle warmer function is what really let’s this machine down for me. It’s such a shame that the machine doesn’t time the warming for you and switch off when the milk is ready - providing ready to drink milk. If your not standing in front of the machine it’ll keep warming until the water in the trough has all evaporated and then the water trough burns. It doesn’t circulate the milk so it doesn’t warm evenly. I have yet to use the machine and have a perfect bottle for my little one. Also the way the bottle sits in the machine means the steam warms the sides of the bottle and come out the top and it makes it impossible to check the temperature of the milk without being scoulded! Overall this is not worth the money and I am really disappointed.
