Rated 5 out of 5 by Sophieeclay21 from All rounder I bought this car seat for my 10 month old daughter, I went in for a different mother care branded car seat but was worn over by the extras on this one. I really can’t complain! Fits perfectly in my fiat 500 and is stylish and safe. The straps are brilliant as secures round hips and over shoulders. The straps to pull at first was hard but sprayed a bit of polish on the button where you release the straps from and is brilliant! My mother has bought same one for in her car. Been and had it turned round to front facing and fell in love with the car seat all over again. Recommend in a heart beat. Well done mother care

Rated 5 out of 5 by HanPen from Fantastic car seat for the price I bought the car seat when my 13 month old was transitioning from his baby seat. Loved the fact it could go both ways. Really easy to install. So comfy. My little one always sleeps in it. He's 17 months old now and still looks comfy and like there's plenty of growing room you until he's 4ish!

Questions & Answers
The straps won't loosen on my boston car seat I can pull the cord to tighten them but how do you loosen them??
There's a button at the bottom of the seat area (where the kids feet go) you pull the button upwards and pull the straps at the same time. The store you purchased from should be able to demonstrate for you. there are also videos on YouTube you can follow if you search the seat name.

My 2 1/2 yr old weighs 12kg 75th for height, but appears to have already outgrown the height adjustment on this carseat. I have adjusted according to the manual, headrest is up as high as possible, straps are in the wrong place for forward. Please advise?

Hi is this seat approved for aviation travel on a plane seat?
Thanks for your query. No Mothercare brand car seats are FAA approved. However the Britax Eclipse, Britax BabySafe and the Maxi-Cosi Pebble and Pebble Plus which are in in our range are FAA approved. However each airline has their own rules about the dimenstions/weights of car seats they will allow on to aircraft. Please check with your airline before purchasing a new car seat for airline travel. Britax have said: We can confirm that we have two models from our car seat range that are TUV certified for use in an aircraft. This includes our full Baby Safe range in Group 0+ and our Group 1 Eclipse car seat from 2004 onwards. The Baby Safe (TUV ID-Number 9811400300) is suitable for children weighing up to 13kg, and as long as their head still sits under the top of the seat shell. The label which indicates that this product is TUV certified for aircraft use already comes with the car seat when purchased. However if you do not have this sticker please contact your retailer for assistance. On the other hand the Eclipse (TUV ID- Number 0000028802) car seat is suitable for older children weighing between 9kg and 18kg. The TUV sticker will not automatically come with this product but can be purchased separately with the aircraft fitting kit. If you would like further information on the fitting kit or would like to purchase this item, please contact us on 01264 386034. Finally, please note that a child seat must not be purchased for aircraft use without consulting the airline first. The Airline will have their own regulations in regards to this matter and therefore we strongly recommend that you contact them to check the use of the above seats on their aircraft before you travel. Regards, Mothercare
