Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant After my transition to formula making bottles out and about worried me. Having this allowed me to warm on the go & not have to wait for the shop to bring you the water or stand in a dreaded queue with a hungry baby! Brilliant price too. Recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A life saver! This product is amazing ! I take it everywhere with me just incase I can’t find anywhere when I’m out and about to make a bottle. I’ve noticed since having a baby that not everyone in cafes, shops or restaurants are happy to let you use there hot water to fill a bottle so this stops the worry.

Questions & Answers

How will I know when milk in warm enough? Also how long does it take to warm up the milk?

Asked by: Sameena
I have never used a really cold bottle in it so can't give an honest answer for that. If I'm out and about I add boiled water cooled for about 15 mins then place into my insulated bag. Therefore although not warm it's not cold, more like room temperature. I then transfer the boiling water from the flask into the plastic kid and warm the bottle for about 3 minutes. Once I'm happy with the temperature I then add the powder and shake. The powder can cool it and if so I pop back in for no more than a minute. I do know of other Mums who make up their water but leave out the last ounce or 2 depending on how much their making in total and they add the boiing water to the bottle when they need it and add the powder. Both ways are ok. I also check temperature on my inside wrist before feeding.

Can I used it to keep baby purees when travelling?

Asked by: avi
I wouldn't put the food in flask, however the flask would be great to use when warming up the food. The white compartment that fits over the flask can be used to pour water from the flask into and then place your food ( in a container) in the white compartment to be heated by the water. Hope this makes sense.

Do we need to sterilise the flask first before using it to store boiled water to make up feeds when out and about?

Asked by: Anisa
Probably depends if you still sterilise everything else like bottles etc. If you still sterilise bottles then yes I would. Double check you can by looking at the instructions though. I've only ever used mine to heat bottles up.

Will this work with the Tommee Tippee Express and Go pouches?

Asked by: Claire
I shouldn't see why not, I didn't use it to heat milk up, I used the hot water for the milk and another flask with cold water, an add the powder, hope that is useful for you.

Can the boiled water be used as part of a feed as well as the water being used to heat a cold bottle???

Asked by: A shopper
It could be yes but my little girl likes her bottles as warm as tea so it wouldn't heat it well enough.

Hi I'm currently pregnant with my first and a little overwhelmed with all the products. We have bought this travel warmer but I've also seen the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Insulated Bottle Carriers, do we need both? Thank you x

Asked by: Claudia
I found that if I boiled the kettle and poured it directly into flask I could just make bottles up as I needed them while I was out and about. The only thing is to give yourself enough time to cool the bottle down if it is too warm. I found this easier than trying to heat bottles up while out as most shops etc will not help with this due to health and safety (don't know why). I got an insulated bottle warmer but never used it as water was always warm in flask. Good luck I hope this helps. K
