These little seats are great !!! They say suitable from approx 4 months although my baby is only 11 weeks but has always had a really strong head so we decided to give it a go. It's great as he's now getting to the stage where he's getting fed up laying down all the time so this is fab as it allows him to sit up on his own and helps strengthen his back at the same time. Well worth the money.

This was a complete waste of money for my little fella. I got it as soon as soon as he was four months and, despite being small for his age, he could arch his back and cause it to tilt backwards. I persevered and even bought the tray (which doesn't fit correctly and baby can remove it and lauch it across the room!) but he was determined to get out of it. And he now climbs out sideways as I discovered last week as he went head first into the cats water bowl! It is now completely pointless as he climbs straight out.

I bought one of these in 2004 for my daughter who absolutely loved it, However I recently bought one for my son who is nine months and simply refusing to sit up on his own.. and he hates it. I thought it was impossible for baby to escape - I was wrong!! Within fifteen minutes he had flipped his legs out and was on his way to the floor. It did at least prove to me that there is nothing wrong with him physically in terms of his lateness in sitting up.. Other than a real desire not to have to!
