I bought this pump today after trying the Avent manual pump. I didn't get on with the manual pump at all. Despite having loads of milk, I couldn't express a single drop using it. Tried the electric pump, and it worked straight away, very comfortable, very user friendly. I would definitely recommend this product. I wish I hadn't bothered buying the manual pump in the first place!

I bought this pump as my baby was in the special care unit to begin with so I had to express milk for her. Once we were allowed home, she wouldn't take to the breast so I continued using the pump. It alters its rhythm and suction to exactly what you require and the cushion makes it comfortable and easier to express. The pump is easy to assemble and use whilst watching tv as the pump does the work!!! The perfect excuse!! I would highly reccommend this product!

The best pump on the market. Quiet, comfortable, defo worth the money. I've tried other pumps and this is THE best. I use it 3 times a day and it's still going well. And it comes with spare parts. Only down side is I find the manual option more effective at producing a large milk flow, when I use the electric 'repeat' button it seems to slow, but my finger gets a rest. I guess we're all different.

After successfully using the Avent manual pump for several weeks, I decided to upgrade to reduce the time that I spend pumping every day. However, this was a BIG mistake as the automatic pumping is actually a lot slower and less effective than the manual one, so I've ended up paying £85 for a larger bottle to use with my original pump!!

Having tried one manual and one other electric pump, I found that this one is by far the best. I couldn't get any milk at all from the manual, but I find I express loads with this pump and it's gentle and comfortable to use. I'll certainly never use anything else.
