I bought this based on 5 star reviews from mothercare but I will not recommend it to anyone.
Starting with the pros, bright, colourful, cheerful and affordable. The music and buttons are entertaining for any little one. Now if this product was just a music machine I could give it 5 stars but it's not, it's a walker.
Cons, the walker has no rubber grip on the wheels, traction is poor due to this. If you have wood floors this thing rockets, and on short pile carpet, it still goes at breakneck speed, my baby has fallen on her face so many times due to the speed it moves at.
Secondly it tips over when baby is standing with it, all the time, and slides if a baby is holding her/his hands soley to the left or right of the bars - it is just not weighted enough to hold a relatively decent sized baby.
This has been a complete waste of money for the purpose it was bought for; to help my child learn to walk. In terms of a music machine, it was great but that's not why I bought it, if I wanted a music machine, I would have bought one.
My baby has face planted, hit her teeth on the bar as it speed out under her, and caused her injury - even when we are guiding her - I have to put my feet on the wheels and hold the bars with her to ensure it doesn't go too fast or tip, or slide.
After speaking with several mothers who have owned this, they agree that this is not great for safety, they have ended up getting up something else, and now so I am I.
So for this reason it gets 1 out of 5 stars.

read moreOur son was bought this for Christmas when he was about 10 months old and is still using it now! It has many different songs and activities and certainly kept Beau quite for a long time. Everytime he played with it I used to hear a different song being played (which makes a change from hearing the same one over and over again). The voice is in English too, which keeps mummy and daddy very happy. I was worried at first that the wheels would slip on our laminate kitchen floor, leaving Beau in a heap crying, but to my surprise, it didnt run away from him, and he was happy bombing round the house as fast as his little legs would take him. As the front, electronic part is detachable, I was able to take it off and put it down the bottom end of his cot, so when he woke up at silly-o'clock in the morning, it would entertain him for a while, leaving mummy to get a few more, well needed Zzzzzz's. It's very lightweight too, so when baby is a bit bigger and more sturdy, they can actually move it round to turn corners. A truly excellent toy, which every baby should have to encourage them to become more mobile!!

read moreMy 16 month old has got so much enjoyment out of this toy, both as a fun activity toy and as a walker. It's one of the best toys we've bought him. It really "grows" with the child and he never seems to get bored of it. The activity panel detaches easily and conveniently if you want to take it to keep baby entertained on outings. My child loves pushing the walker and walking along behind it. The wheels do work better on a carpeted suface than hard wood floors, though. For a child who is not confident on his/her feet yet, the wheels tend to run very quickly over smooth surfaces, so an adult needs supervise the child closely in that case.
