This pushchair is unique as the seat lies completely flat and when adjusted creates the "seat" shape complete with leg support (this isn't shown very well on the pictures and isn't described as such either - but trust me it's very clever!). There is not a 3 wheeler on the market that has 3 wheels (all the same size) with a seat unit that can be faced both ways which folds so well (believe me I have been looking!!!!). I live in the middle of nowhere and it copes beutifully with off roading as well as being a breeze to push in town. It is easy to use and fits into a Kia Cee'd boot as well as a Peugeot 306. The price may seem high - but if you compare it to the Quinny Buzz it is better value for money (you don't get the car seat or the footmuff with the Buzz). My little girl has unfortunately outgrown the car seat - but I bought it for the pushchair. I just wish it had come out sooner - so I didn't have to use my old pushchair!!!

For the first 4 - 5 months it was brilliant. We bought the extra carrycot and it was great for keeping our baby girl comfy when out and about, although she had outgrown it by about 3 months. The pushchair is equally good for using on rough tracks out walking, or going round the shops, although it can be a bit wide for the aisles in some shops.
I would definitely recommend this travel system for babies up to about 6 months old, but we've found that now our little girl is nearly 8 months and wanting to sit very upright in her pushchair, the seat unit is far too reclined, even in its most upright position. She was constantly straining and reaching forward to try and sit up more, and ended up getting quite upset every time we went out in her pushchair. We've ended up buying a cheap stroller/buggy to use around town, which sits much more upright and she seems much happier in that.
If the Quantum had one more seat position which was more upright, I would give this system 5 stars, but without it I can only rate it at 3 stars.

When shopping around I found that the carrycots in many other travel systems wobbled on the attachments, or required extra fitments to get the car seat on the chasis- not this one it is so easy swapping between car seat carrycot and buggy attachment, I always feel confident my little boy is safe and comfy. It is lightweight, really manouverable round town and great on paths and tracks too (fanatastic for me as it allowed me to get out and about very quickly after a c- section). Folds easily and fits well in the back of the car. I would totally recommend it.

I wanted a three wheeler system but some of the ones around didn't look like their seat units would be suitable for an older child as well as a newborn baby! This one did This is a fab system perfect the way it comes to pieces and you can use the car seat with the wheels for quick shops or school runs. The waterproofs are really easy too and fit easily under the basket ( I leave them under there and it folds up ok.) unlike older pushchais I have had where you seem to fiddle around for ages in the rain or don't bother to take them because of the room they take. My little boy seems very comfortable in this pushchair (right from birth and he's now 5 months) and It is easy to push around in shops as well and out and about over muddy fields!
However I have had a couple of issues, the head hugger part is fleecey making it really hot if you have a summer baby like mine so not great for too long. My little boy got really hot on his back and quite upset. I had a couple of problems with the hood too, on the pushchair not staying up and the stitching coming undone, but can't fault the service from Mothercare, have just had a replacement main hood and the car seat one too is a common fault apparently ,so I'm waiting for new one with updated clips for that too.
Even with the problems I don't regret buying this pushchair I think it is great for the money, not too heavy and easy to put in a car.
