Reviewer:Penny (Newbury) See all my reviewsI have just purchased this bale. It is lovely but the fitted sheet does not fit the crib mattress I also purchased from Mothercare. It will fit the moses basket no problem. Check the measurements before you buy it.

read moreI wish I'd read the reviews of this product before buying rather than making a quick purchase. We bought the bale to go with the mothercare glider crib and as the crib had to be delivered we took the bale home and I washed it (as you do). When the crib and mattress came I was disappointed to find that the fitted sheet is too small and the wrong shape for the mattress. My hubby tried to convince me that we could squeeze it on but it rounded the corners making gaps between the mattress and the crib base, which I feel is just not safe. I'm so disappointed as I bought the bale so that everything would match :(

Whilst it is true that the fitted sheet is a teensy bit on the small side I have managed to s-t-r-e-t-c-h it onto my basic foam core mattress! It would have been far too big for our moses basket. My only problems with this set is that you only get one fitted sheet and that the coverlet isn't quite warm enough for my baby (but I think thats just him). Other than that, its a great set that washes well and looks fab! I'd reccommend it to a friend.
