read morei tried pampers etc at first to see what they were like and yes they are softer, but nature babycare nappies do just the same job, and touch wood, in the last 6 weeks have not leaked, maybe it is because they are a little more rigid. They have a bit of a funny smell to them, but u get used it. Perhaps that is why you have to go up a size that bit sooner, my son is a shade over 9lb at 6 weeks and I am beginning to think the 1st size are a bit small, but, it doesn't matter as the sizes overlap well. I would choose these over normal nappies, i hate them all going to landfill, but they are the next best thing if you can't do re uesables.

read moreThese nappies have less chemicals than other disposables so they are better on my baby's skin and the fact that they are environmentally friendly too is even better. They are the only disposables I've used on my 4th baby if all my reusables are in the wash. However I found that they are not as stretchy as other disposable brands so you may need to go up a size sooner than you would with other brands but I don't consider this to be a particular problem.
