This makes a great first bed. It's low to the floor so it takes away some of the worry about the child hurting themselves if they fall out. It is also large and sturdy enough so that the child won't grow out of it too quickly. It is also good value for money compared to a lot of the beds that we looked at.

Bought this for our 2.5 year old. She loved it. She can easily get in and out. We also got the fixed wooden guards. There were pre drilled holes in the bed frame, so very easy to fix. Took hubby about an hour to put all together by himself. Has held up to some serious jumping by 2 toddlers. Very impressed and will be ordering another one for our 1.5 year old when she is ready.

I just bought this bed for my 3 year old daughter, who has just outgrown the mothercare
toddler/junior bed. It seems good quality and good value for money.
However one thing i was disappointed with was the height of the bed, being a single
bed i thought it would be higher than the toddler bed, but its the same height.
I bought underbed storage boxes to go under it that wont fit.
Otherwise, im happy with my purchase.

We have just got this bed for our 3yr old and we are really pleased with it. We had to have a 2ft6 single as the bedroom is so small and lots of other just werent as nice wood. I recommend the jerssey fitted sheets from Mothercare too - they seem excellent quality. The basic mattress is perfectly fine - you really dont need to get the most expensive, the basic one is sprung interior and it supports even an adult well.
