He goes on it several times a day and he kicks, feels (dangling toys), and giggles while he is on it. It's a god-send! I did my research b4 I bought this and I'm glad I did as my son loves it. If ure thinking of buying one then buy this! Only minus is the battery life. So be smart and buy re-chargeables ;-). The colours are vibrant to stimulate him. eps the b&W strips and mirrors. read moreYup, I can definitely confirm all the positive reviews about this playgym - I thinks its great. This is the second playmat I have bought as I bought a different type for my first boy, and it was plush looking, but impractical. This one is great - can be washed easily and dries super quickly. I also have wooden floors, but have not needed to put anything else underneath it, and my boy now 5 months has been fine - despite his rolling over and head bashing. It is VERY sturdy - my 2 year old is very jealous of this very cool toy that is not his and has on more than one occasion climbed on top of it and lied on it (NOT RECOMMENDED) but it has taken his 12 kg's which is pretty impressive. Its also great to take apart and hide away in the evening. with the extra loops being in the frame, you can purchase other types of hanging toys for your little ones to play with too - even through the 3 on it have not yet bored my little boy. All n all its great and I would recommend it to my friends.

4/5 is because the mat is quite thin and I feel needs a folded blanket to make it more comfortable.

read moreI think this is one of the very few things I have bought for my children where i actually believe it was well worth the money! I was aprehensive buying this because it was nearly £50, but it is so lovely, really sturdy and completely mesmerizes my 8 week old!! One thing to note is that you will need to buy 3 large d batteries and that if you have wooden floors like me you will need to put some sort of padding underneath the gym as the mat is very thin!!

read moreBrilliant toy. I thought it may be too big judging from the size of the packaging. It isn't, it is perfect. It is bright and vibrant and my baby son loves to watch the mirror, lights, rotating tactile toys and listen to the music. When the hanging toys are on a low level he can kick and grab the toys while laying on his back.
The only reason I have rated this a 4 and not a 5 is because although the music & lights are designed to turn off after a length of time to save the battery, I feel it turns off too quickly. I have had to train my older child to turn it back on when it turns off and my son is still awake!
