I used this breast pump with my first baby, and will again with my second.
If you want your partner to feed the baby late at night, while you get some extra sleep, its perfect. Or if you are making too much milk in the early days, it is a great relief to be able to express.
It is small and easy to use. Unlike the Avent manual pump, which literally expressed no milk in 5 minutes, the Medela mini electric pump would fill a small bottle in 5 minutes. It is easy to clean and fits in the sterilizer. Highly recommended, the only drawback is you have to buy the smaller Medela bottles that fit the nozzle pump, Avent bottles don't fit.

The Medela Mini is really easy to use, has a good suction on it and fills up the storage bottle with milk really quickly. It is also very compact. I found the Medela Swing very cumbersome, having to carry the pump and the motor around aswell.
I am extremely happy with this purchase and it is thirty pounds cheaper than the medela swing pump!!!

The noise was also very very loud. I then got a philips isis electric pump it was really comfortable and there was no pain at all. Wish I had bought that in the first place! Much quicker at getting the milk out too.

Aside from the noise, I'm really happy with the Medela mini electric breast pump. It's small and compact and manages to get a good supply of breast milk within a couple of minutes. Very happy.
