read moreWe did a LOT of research into car seats when I was expecting our daughter and we certainly made the right choice. This car seat is brilliant. My daughter was born premature and was comfortable in the car seat at a mere 5lb, she now weighs 16lb and still falls asleep in there easily so is clearly still comfy in there! It's really sturdy has great features like the sun shade, the storage section at the back (great for keeping the rain cover in) the shoulder pads and the removable head hugger with padded base. The car seat looks stylish and is easy to keep clean. We're about to buy the next stage car seat and are going with a maxi cosi again due to its excellent safety rating - would highly recommend this car seat!!

read moreThought I would just write this review as, if like me, you are wondering about the actual colour of this 'Cappuccino Reflection'. Well, I have to say mine arrived today and its gorgeous, most of the seat is actually black with just the edges in the most gorgeous shimmery, chocolate colour.
Such a change from the black models you see everywhere and more of a bargain pricewise as well!

I bought this car seat because it could be put on the MY4 travel system, i also bought the ISO Fix base to match this seat.
It was a dream to use, easy to fix in and remove from ISO FIX and easy to strap my son in. It also looks really smart.
This car seat also rocks if put on the floor, so if my son was sleepy after taking him out the car at a friends house etc. i would leave him in the seat (only for a short while as recommended) and rock him.
The only down side was that i ended up losing a chest harness pad as they slide off easily when removing your baby from the seat, also my son out grew it very quickly, but he is a tall boy!
I would always choose Maxi Cosi in the future after using this seat.

It looks so great and my baby has no problem sleeping in it either so i assume its nice to be in for baby. its quite small in comparison to most carseats too which is nice when you have to carry it. Yet it looks big enough for my little one. Have just bought quinny buzz and cant wait to see what its like attached to that. It has a great head support too. When my friends babies heads are wiggling about my baby is secure and yet he can move his head fine. I really liked that you had extra padding to support your baby's back when there smaller and this can be removed without taking out the extra head support. I am very happy with this maxi-cosi and will be getting another when its time for my little one to move into a bigger one. BUY IT! ITS GREAT!

read moreWe bought this car seat as it fits in the MY3 pushchair which we also purchased. Very useful being able to slot it into the pushchair chassis, it really made buying this car seat worthwhile. The colour is quite nice (though the name sounds a bit odd). It does seem like a comfortable and safe car seat so would recommend it.
The only bad thing is that our son is now 8 mths old and 9kgs and is almost too big for this car seat, even though you can supposedly fit a much bigger baby in. So we will have to buy a new car seat very soon which is a little disappointing as we thought we'd get a bit more use out of it.
