Also when using the batteries...they go flat straight away...well after a couple of nights which is annoying. Rechargebales might be better.

read moreGot this when our daughter was few weeks old a few weeks old and it's been brilliant. Yes there are more expensive models out there but i truly believe this is just as good as any of them if all you want is something to hear your baby and reassure you that baby is safe and sound. The sound is that clear i can not only hear my daughter snoring softly and nowadays occasionally talking in her sleep but the muffled sounds of traffic that pass by her bedroom window- and that's on second lowest setting.
the night light on baby's end of monitor is great- not to bright at all and just right so you see ok when you pop your head round the door to check on baby. Infact i've been able to see what i'm doing while changing nappies with just the little night light to see by. On the whole a brilliant product if you want a baby monitor without all the often pointless extras that seem to be a feature on many other models.

read moreI bought this item with some reservation however i'm pleased to say it has been brilliant. It seems to have gone up £3 in the 10 months since my purchase but it is still worth the price. Admittedly it isn't all singing all dancing and if you do want something fancy i would buy one of the CCTV monitors as in reality if all you want is to listen in to your babies room this does as good a job as any of the pricier models. It has 5 volume settings, 1 been the lowest, on number 2 I can hear my baby breathing and the clock ticking in her room.
