I thought it would be useful to feed her in it, which it was at the start of a meal but then she would want to come out which made dinner times 'interesting'. Glad I didn't buy one to be honest...

As he is now too big for the bouncer he sits in this instead, we dont have the play tray and am not planning to feed him in it, but as he enjoys sitting up but has not got a strong enough back to support himself he can sit in this and enjoy his toys.

These became stuck as I tried to lift him back out, causing extreme distress. Needless to say, I have returned it :(

Sometimes if I need to rush to a room I grab the Bumbo in one hand and our daughter in the other and she can sit in it.
At first she had to get used to sitting in it, but definitely has helped.
Would recommend :-)

read moreI purchased the Bumbo seat when my son was 3 months old, he was slightly small for it but he has grown into it now at 5 months old, I do worry when I sit him in it though, he tries to push his head back which can be a bit alarming, I try to sit close to him whenever he's in it, I must say though he does seem to enjoy it, the tray is useful for toys etc. Overall I think its been a decent enough purchase.
