Brother Max 3-in-1 Digital Thermometer

My three year old is constantly hot and cold, so I've been through the mill when it comes to thermometers. We've had the Braun, the cheap strips and some other thing that is supposed to tell you the room temp. Anyone with a hot baby will tell you that worrying about change in temps is exhausting. So, I asked a few of my friends with children what they had used. I wanted one to solve all, and cheap, as let's be honest I'd wasted nearly £50 already :(

The Brother Max was in fact £5 off at the time and a couple of friends told me to try it so off I went.

To my surprise it reads ear, forehead and room. Perfect for me as little one hates things in her ear (when awake ;)) and I'm also conscious that I get the room temp right.

I myself am a nurse. I trust only what works, so after using this, am completely convinced.

I'm also a mum. I worry about every little thing, even though I see much worse on an average late shift... But with this, I have complete piece of mind.

Great find, and in fact a great little brand if you're after products that solve problems PROPERLY. I have recommended this to other parents who are in agreement.

This thermometer is really efficient and offers great peace of mind. It allowed me to check my baby's temperature really easily and also gives a constant reading for the temperature of the room. Excellent value for money!

We bought this thermometer after the birth of our son in 2010... this is the best thermometer we have ever had (and we've bought a few)... Our daughter who is 4 is very fussy about getting her temperature taken and this is the only thermometer she had let us use without a fuss. Its also the only one that has not broken (toddler hands get everywhere) and has stood the test of time and lots of temperate taking from a worried mummy! Brilliant. Also love that its a room thermomter and helps me to know that my sons room is a nice temperate for him. I highly recommend this product!

I thought this thermometer was great. It is super easy to use and works on either the forehead or in the ear.

When not in use you can use it to measure the room temperature or keep it in its protective case, either way it looks fab!

I was given the thermometer as a present and absolutely love it. Brilliant design which also looks very stylish in my daughter's bedroom. The readings are v. accurate and fast to take unlike our previous thermometer. I love the forehead function as our daughter does not like having the probe in her ear and for our other 2 kids it is great that you do not need the plastic ear covers as we used to lose them always and they are expensive. Plus added bonus that it takes the air temp - great for these summer months to know how hot it is. Definitely recommend!

Bought this last year. Brilliant little gadget. We called it the "Magic Wand" and have never had a problem getting a temperature reading since. No more trying to pin down a sick toddler for a minute whilst holding a thermometer under their arm. An essential for when they start the immunization process. The best things though are there are no ongoing costs and uses AAA batteries.
