Featuring a 15fps video camera and full colour LCD touch-screen, the Angelcare AC1100 Video, Movement & Sound Baby Monitor gives you visual peace of mind. The touch screen technology allows you to view and have control over all the functions, settings and video at your fingertips. The screen also displays temperature, and an alarm will sound is baby's room becomes to hot or too cold.

The video camera also gives you the option to adjust the picture with zoom and rotation (it is possible to control this using the parent unit). Using infrared LED technology, this Angelcare monitor also enables you to see baby in the dark.

High quality, crystal clear sound compliments the video camera feature, and automatically selects the best channel out of over sixty available channels, so you always have the clearest reception and the best privacy possible. You can control the volume, and if you decide to mute the sound you can choose to use the vibration alert option. When you want to go into baby's nursery, the gentle nightlight lets you check on baby without disturbing them.

You can set the sound monitoring function to voice-activated or continuous: voice activated is useful for energy-saving, and turns itself on automatically whenever it detects the smallest sound, and then off again when it is silent again. If baby is being particularly quiet, you can use the optional audio 'tic', which lets you know that the monitor is still working, even though baby is sleeping very soundly. The sound sensitivity can be adjusted so you can choose to only hear louder noises (for example crying), or sensitive enough to hear baby's tiniest movements. The talkback option allows baby to hear the sound of your voice with the touch of a button, useful for reassuring baby that you are still around or that you are on your way.

The SensorPad attaches underneath the cot mattress and can detect even the tiniest motion. If no movement is detected by the device in twenty seconds, an alarm sounds. This can also be temporarily switched off, for example, for feeding time, when baby is out of the cot. The pad also has variable sensitivity control.

The parent unit has a clip that can attach the unit to your belt for hand-free monitoring around the house. When fully charged the battery unit lasts for up to eight hours.

The Angelcare AC1100 Video, Movement & Sound Monitor is either mains of battery-operated. When being used with the mains, if there is a power cut the unit automatically switches to using battery power.
